This shot was taken a while back when I went out to the Linda Vista Hospital Shoot that Brooke Shaden arranged. The shot was actually the only planned shot I had in mind when I went there that day. I saw this morgue in pictures and I came up with this idea. I wanted to do it so it looked more surreal than creepy (although it might still be creepy to some).

A while back while shooting at Linda Vista Hospital I was able to hook up with with photographer Lauren Randolph. I had a random idea for a shot and oddly enough she was into it too. Her expressions totally made these shots.

Last week I was asked to shoot photos for possible posters for the upcoming Las Vegas Mob Experience. The idea was to have an image of a guy who is “Made” and then in an alternate poster he is being “Whacked”. My first concern was the second shot, I have to have a person behind the subject emerging from the shadows. How would I do this and not make it look cheesy.

Welcome to the Blog! It’s been a long time coming. The main focus of this blog will be for information and resources rather than my own photography. I will try to share as much as I can. I’m not claiming I know what I’m doing, but if you like what I do, then you may take away something from this blog.
In the past I have always listed strobist info. Now via this blog I will try to supply more detailed lighting information with the occasional setup shot.
