Kelly – Washed-out

August 6, 2010

I get asked a lot how I get that light, washed-out look on some of my photos. It is a simple one step process (ok maybe 2 steps). It’s not always how easy or hard the technique is, but it is knowing when to apply them.

Project 365

Better late than never right? I originally planned to launch this blog earlier in the year and with that launch I was going to recap my 365 from 2009. I figured people who weren’t familiar with my project can see some of my favorite images from the project.

Get Made / Get Whacked

July 12, 2010

Last week I was asked to shoot photos for possible posters for the upcoming Las Vegas Mob Experience. The idea was to have an image of a guy who is “Made” and then in an alternate poster he is being “Whacked”. Welcome to the Blog! It’s been a long time coming. The main focus of this blog will be for information and resources rather than my own photography. I will try to share as much as I can. I’m not claiming I know what I’m doing, but if you like what I do, then you may take away something from this blog.

In the past I have always listed strobist info. Now via this blog I will try to supply more detailed lighting information with the occasional setup shot.
